I installed my new EBC HH brake pads all the way around on the bike. I have about 800 miles on the pads and the rear pads still squeal really bad like metal on metal. I have tried re-installing them and really working them from high speeds but to no avail.

Anyone got any suggestions???

yeah take them off spray them with brake kleen and also your rotors and get some gloves and try that you might have had greasy hands and it got all over them

they have a whispy sound when braking.... thats just the nature of the beast.... shouldn't squeel though.

the HH I installed on the front and they make a whine while braking . I've been told it will quit after bedding in

If they "squeal" then you need to remove the calipers, take some sand paper and "rough" up the surface of the pads and especially the rotors,If they "hiss" on the front when braking, then all is good.

The hissing I know is normal but the squal is deafening. I've tried the cleaning and sanding and it is a temporary fix. after a few miles its back again.
