I need some Silkolene and some irridium plugs for the beast.

I was dealing with Josh at Ryders connection but they said he is gone.

Any board sponsor or vendors deal in Silkolene?

If I don't get a ping from a sponsor, anybody else have a good source?

Well, I guess it's back to AmSoil (which is good stuff).

Silkolene is better but a 90 bucks a gallon (with shipping) it ain't that
much better than AmSoil.

I have heard mixed reports about the iridium plugs... main complaint (multiple) was a loss of fuel mileage and honestly I could not tell you why they would do that but it is not uncommon.. I would go with the stock plugs... I got 25K out of my stockers..

I second that. I went with the iridium's and had problems with idling and starting. I actually put my old plugs back in with 17k on them and it ran like new again. Not sure why but those things are crap.

I've been using Iridiums for quite a while now and haven't had any running
or starting issues but I have noticed a while back ago my fuel milage went
down...don't know if the two are related or just because I began
developing a right wrist problem.

I've heard this before but till I can wrap around some logic for it...
It's supposed to be a kick arse plug, don't understand why it
would kill the fuel milage and not work as effectively as a stock plug.

Anyone have any insight, I'd love to hear it.

+1 Me too. My 08 has them from the factory, and I know they are trying to squeeze every drop of HP out of the engine, which has a higher compression ratio also. But I'd like to hear some logic, to back up their increased price.

Tried to contact Josh a few weeks ago but he never replied... ???
