I had some downs then ups then downs today.

My day started off horrible waiting to tech in. Bike was in N, i was getting off of it... apparently the tech line slopes down. Kickstand went in and down went the bike

Frame sliders did their job and my helmet (hooked inside the trunk) took one HELL of a beating

I was so pissed and so embarrassed

Here were my 5 runs (1st run was right when i got there with no cooldown):
1) 9.768 @ 152.35mph w/ 1.829 60ft, launching at 4k (6.549 @ 121.96 mph in the 1/8th)
2) 9.403 @ 152.30mph w/ 1.666 60ft, launching at 5k (6.201 @ 123.14 mph in the 1/8)
3) don't know, never picked it up. I stalled while attempting to launch at 6k
4) stalled again trying to launch at 6k. ended up going 14.127 @ 150.26mph w/ 5.886 60ft lol (10.864 @ 120.14 mph in the 1/8th)
5) not sure what I ran here either. I did have a 1.7x 60ft but was feathering the throttle too much. My airshifter did NOT like it and I wasn't prepared to use my foot to shift.

So all in all.... bike is running awesome, making great power (awesome tune from greg @ HPC). pretty consistent 150+mph. Kind of wish i could take back run 3 and 4... as usual I needed to give it more gas and I was a little afraid :-o next week I will not be... hopefully lol

I have tons to learn still (this was my 2nd time ever at the track on a bike)... I think I can easily get a 9.20 out of her if not better.

What mods do you have those are some killer times

holly cow, those are good times, rode mine to the track friday nite , first time this year, now i realize i suck a raceing compared to your times , best time a could pull off was a 10.34,one of these days i might grow some balls and give it some gas lol, my 60 ft times are killin me

How are you geting in the 150s that is impresive.I have a 08 with air filter yosh full systum 7inch strech and slamed also air shifed.I weigh 220 my best time is 9.65 at 141mph with a 1.63 60ft. why is my MPH so slow?

That is a loaded question... lol

I weigh 160lbs full suited for one, but I also have a couple more mods then you (see my mod list in my sig). I have short stacks, the ignition module and HUB plus a custom tune (i.e. tuned per gear). Greg @ HPC spent many many many hours tuning my bike on the dyno. I recall him saying he spent around 6-7hours on the dyno with my bike.

Another thing.. altitude. what is the altitude at your track? Capital Raceway, the track I have run at, claims it is about 20 feet above sea level.

Lastly, what are you shifting at, and where are you getting your RPM from (i.e. stock gauges or a shift light)? I shifted at a TRUE 10,900 RPM and 10,950 rpm (the latter yielded a slightly higher mph, 152.30 vs 152.85).

This friday I'm going to try out a 17T front sprocket. I expect my mph drop 1 or 2 BUT run a faster ET.

Thanks for the info.I race at Alaska Raceway Park and it is very close to sea level and I didn't mention the Carptenter clutch mod in my original post.
