I recently lowered the back end ~1.5". I have not adjusted the front down but have installed some heli bars. I really like being flat footed on the bike now at stops, however the ride just seems much harder. I also haven't found that the wrist/shoulder discomfort has gone away, as was thought to happen by using the heli bars.

Two questions really, 1) do I need to adjust the rear suspension now that I have lowered the rear end? and 2) do I need to look at lowering the front end an inch or so as well to help with the ride/comfort.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

I haven't lowered my bike yet, but I would assume the ride stiffness you're feeling is just a part of lowering the bike and compressing the suspension more...I don't think you would benefit much from any adjustments. As for your comfort level, not sure...depends on your body type, just play around with it until you find what fits you the best.
