On another motorcycle forum they said he was doing 80 mph Anyway RIP to the rider its sad and tragic event and a horrible way to die I am guessing he was properly high on drugs or a very stupid decision to out run the police in a build up area

Can't be too old, looks like it has a factory quick shifter; see the vertical rod?
And the shifter isn't attached to the peg/rearset.

I was thinking a Hayabusa, three spoke wheel, chain adjuster, sprocket, gold forks, but I’ve never seen my bike so stripped of bodywork. Maybe not.

Definitely not a Hayabusa....I'd say @pcs is on the money....

Absolutely nothing good comes from this..

1. Young man is dead
2. Family somewhere is surely devastated over this death in a series of bad judgement calls.
3. Innocent people affected in the accident, no telling who saw the actual actions or outcome.. Just what a young kid needs to see driving by after the fact.
4. I've already heard that the Police were at fault for following him even though there was no one following him for this very reason..
5. The general attitude around sport bikes will take another hit on power on the street and what should be regulated.

Yeah, the cops handled this really well and they are still getting grief. I bet the people in that car he hit wish the cops had been more aggressive about stopping him!
