How to remove Turn Signal Assembly?

Don't seem to find it in the PDF shop manual? Anybody got some info on how to remove it? I need to open it up to insert the self-canceling turn signal springs.

I have already removed the two screws underneath the unit but there seems to be something else holding it on.

There's a screw underneath that holds the choke assembly in place, be carefull as it has a spring behind it and a plastic wedge that will fly out and loose itself on your garage floor when removed. I think that might be holding it all together.

Yea, I already got that one out..without loosing it! Still stuck tight...not sure whats holding it on!

I had mine apart last week and seem to remember having the same trouble, including nearly loosing the spring and plastic thing lol. I'd give it some gentle persuasion with a rubber hammer. Either that or wiggle the choke leaver about a bit. It's probably been stuck tight for years. Mine was tight and popped apart with a wiggle.
