how to remove the stock grips?

can anybody tell me how to remove the stock grips? I did a search and i did not find anything about that. my previous bikes I had to cut them open to get rid of them. If I can save them and keep them I'll be more than happy for that. thanks for looking.

A box knife.

I tried peeling them off, no go. Cut them and be done with it.

cutting them is the easiest way.

Compressed air. I've never had to cut off the stock grips.

Remove the bar ends, use compressed air under the ends of the grips and they will slide off easily. You will have to remove the small lip on the end of the throttle tube, then use the same air gun to install the new grips.

If you want to reuse them and don't have a compressor just slip a screw driver beneath the grip while shooting some w-d40 up in there.  Work the screw driver around with care !

take a hyperdermic (sp)needle with rubbing alcohol and shoot in the top end.

Wait a few seconds..remove. To reinstall use hair spray or grip glue.

When I installed heli bars and the throttle meister, mine just pulled off. I even reused them with no problems at all. They still hold firm too!
