How much lag??

I am looking into building a turbo-Busa depending on the information that I get from this tread.

I know on a 2.0L engine with 8.5:1 compression ratio the gt35r reaches full spool (35psi) at 4800rpm. A 2.4L engine with 8.5:1 compression ratio the gt35r reaches full spool (35psi) at 4200rpm.  What rpm will the gt35r reach full spool on a 1300cc (1.3L) motor? Around 5600rpm? What rpm will it spool set at a lower boost like 10psi on a 1300cc?

I would also like to get other turbo combinations that are being used.

I am looking for info like:
Displacement:
Compression Ratio:
Turbo Make/Size:
Boost you run:
Full spools at(rpm):
Other Setup Info:

Thanks in Advance,

some use the 40r for big power
the 35r for racing and 28 or 30 r for street
i personally im building with a Master Power turbo (brazilian made)
a T70
big power/racing
i am going with a MS efi standalone too

alot of other sizes that are good would be a 57 trim for around 400hp
the spool time would be around 4500-5500

not sure about other turbos but my t03/04 reaches full boost around 4500-5k or so.

Ok so here is what we have on my family's 2002 turbo-busa drag bike:

Displacement: 1397cc
Compression Ratio: 8.1:1
Turbo Make/Size: Mitsubishi 20g
Boost you run: 21psi (tapers to 19psi at 11,000rpm redline)
Full spools at(rpm): 3800-4000rpm
Other Setup Info: Custom tubular exhaust manifold; SMC alky injection; custom 272/272 duration cams; walbro 255 fuel pump; 640cc injectors; custom fuel-rail, lines and rising-rate FPR; tuned with power commander PCIIIr and ignition module. Other items also used but not mentioned

i run a gt35 & a 42 tooth sprocket, I think I hit full boost around 5 or 6 grand or so.

Not true full boost on the 35r will not come on till around 7300 rpms.Thats with stock bore and stroke.
Well, here are the specs on it, it went to Precision to get an up due where I believe they put a smaller wheel, 62 AR instead of a 80?

Specs on the turbo:
680 SC-6176E 61mm 2.416" 3.227" 56 3" / 2" 360 Race 0.63 T04 2.920" 2.542"
HP Model diameter Inducer Exducer Trim Inlet/outlet Bearings Ratio Style Inducer/exh Exducer/exh

trust me, it hits at 5 or 6, I don't have very much lag.

Interesting Kawiboy, my velocity kit started spooling around 6500 and was at FULL boost around 7200 or 7300. gt35r

Cams and exhaust don't play as much of a role as DISPLACEMENT. This is why I was asking for displacement initially. The more info about a setup the better. It will help everyone see what changes or ideas that could be use to increase the performance of their setup.

True, true, I use Velocity Dumps, 3 inch, plus a 1 7/8 dump, plus the 44mm tial external wastegate. I know the guy who had it before me sent it to Precision in Indian & had the turbo redone where they changed a few things, he wanted less lag, quicker boost, so what ever Precision did must have worked!

That was my big complant about the gt35r on the street. I'm or I should say Velocity is in the process of building me a stage 2 right now. Barry said boost should start building around 2600 rpms. The new 08's are 15% stronger on his race bike I'm hoping thats true on my "little" stage 2. barry is estimating 450hp and 275tq, we'll see.

a twin entry housing and designed header for it will spool faster then a single entry
by the way i am staying stock displacement with my build
