GSX-R Front End Swap, have a few questions.

I swapped to 07 GSX-R front end. I am using the GSX-R wheels as well. Only problem I found is the ignition. The busa ignition doesn't fit the gsx-r triple tree, and a GSX-R ignition hits the top fairing stay mount.

Anyone done this before? If so, what'd you do? Did you end up not running an ignition in the factory spot?

I was thinking about the same swap and giving my old front end to my buddy with an SV1000. Never even thought about the ignition issue.

Remote mount the ignition under the tail/rear seat?

that's why you use an 03-06 front forks and your stock busa triple clamp.

Yes, 1000's from 03-up and 600/750's 04-up have radial brakes.

Are the fork lengths similar? Busa to 06 GSXR that is.
