Getting a new chain

I was told for a new chain and the labor it would cost about $250. Well I'm looking online to buy a chain and put it on myself (or have Rocky do it!!)... wondering how to order one? My sprocket says 540 but all the ones on ebay say 530, and one of the websites is asking for how many links I want. How do I order a new chain? I don't need a stretched chain, just a normal stock size I guess.

Just to add to that, I need only the chain, no new sprocket.

I think the link count is like 115. If your sprocket says 540, then you will have to get a 540 chain so the teeth will fit into the links.

Thanks Fann! I think I'm going to have to cut some links off. The website I'm looking at only has 110, 120 and 150.

You'll need a 530 112 if it still has a 40 tooth rear... Are you sure that is not a S 40 instead of a 5 40?
