Gauge question

Before I go diggin to deep. Could anyone tell me if the silver/gray trim around the stock mph gauge "2011 busa" comes off easily? or is it a mission ?

hmm, it seems that no1 has taken these off before I noticed that BlackMamba's was done in red. I liked that look. again i didnt want to start something I would regret.

There are covers available.
Otherwise the guage assembly itself must be disassembled.
It unbolts and unplugs easily.

The Silver part does unscrew and has a sticky like gasket around it.

Painted it

Popped it back on the frame.

Finshed product

Took some time to take it all apart. Well worth it in my opinion.
