First decent ride NC - Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Busa family!!!!

Still living in our temporary condo here in Pinehurst NC, leaving for work when it's dark and getting home when it's dark.

Today was the first decent ride here, at 50F.

Put my new Shift insulated gloves on, and the bicycling gear I bought in Italy, when I used to race there, followed by my leathers. At 50F, it was actually too warm. Tried some anti fog wipes in the helmet and they worked a little too.

Rode to Carthage, two streets in the town, got lost, the GPS took me home, horse ranches, chicken farms, nice twisties and some trailer towns you don't want to stop in. Great ride!!

Still don't know how you seasoned riders do it, when this thing gets to 7000rpm in 3rd on a country road, my brains kinda stay behind.

Maybe another ride Saturday, or Sunday.

This is out my window right now... The white stuff is NOT snow...it's sleet...and it's coming down fairly good right now. The 6"+ of snow is expected later.

Thought about a ride today myself but ended up washing my truck and installing beadboard in some bookshelves for my wife. Maybe this weekend.
