Does a turbo need anything else?

I just read post. I didn't bother to reply since the question was answered. But that thread got me thinking. I plan on slapping a turbo on my bike as a birthday present to myself (January) but don't know too much about them. Same as one should install a power commander on a piped bike, is there anything else that should be installed or replaced on a turbo bike?

BTW ... I'm looking at the Ghetto and Stage 1 Velocity.
