Digtal SLR

Well I have to admit, since reading this link I've done more research and I've made a decision as to what I'm going to buy and it will be.............................duh duh duh duuuuuuuhhhhh!!!

Nikon D200
Actually held one of these puppies at Ritz Camera yesterday and it was love at first sight.  Plus everyone I know who has owned more than (2-3) cameras recommend Nikon over the competition 9/10 times.  I listen to expertise, so my decision is made and my mind is made up.  I appreciate ALL the input and I'm glad this topic was started by unkleslapnutz!  As soon as I've made my purchase I'll post pics.

Congrats man. I am heading to Walden's Books this weekend to pick up a book on digital photography and photo shop (you know the Photo shop for dummies line) Try to help out both my picture taking and editing techniques. But just the normal pics I am taking playing with it are turning out real real nice. This board was a GREAT help in my choice.

Hopefully Mrs.Clause will be getting me the Cybershot DSC-H5.

Not a bad camera for the price ($406 from JBR.com).
