Did Clutch Mod Now Soft Lever.

I just installed the Schnitz clutch mod kit put it all together and now the clutch lever is soft to the bar. The only thing I can think of that I might have done wrong was putting the transmission in gear while the pressure plate was off so that I could break loose the nut.
The fluid in the reservoir is lower but why? I hate it when stuff like this happens.

Thanks. I did take it apart and reassemble and I believe the clutch drive was not seated all the way to bottom. I'm able to put the tranni in and out of gear so I'm thinking that is the solution.
