I'm putting these pics. from the 99-00 manual because of a member that suffered fluid loss for his clutch reservoir while his bike was in storage. If anyone has had this happened to them please let us know what you found and how you fixed it.
The only thing I can think of is to pull the actuator housing and see if there is any fluid behind it. There is a piston that pushes the actuator rod on the clutch and if the seal on that let go the housing will be full of fluid.

I have noticed fluid loss when she hasn't been running for a long time as well. I noticed a very small amount of clutch fluid on the floor. Obviously a leak somewhere. I pulled the fairings off and have been unable to locate the source of the leak. If I make sure I run the engine regularly, no leaks / fluid loss occurs. I'm stumped over this as well. I'm guessing a seal somewhere shrinks when the engine remains cold for long periods of time. Like a month or so without running. I have not gone to a mechanic to investigate any further. I make sure I ride as often a possible.
