Clicking between up/down shifts.

I've had my 2006 busa for about 5 months, it's my first busa and I bought her with only 450 miles, and just hit 2500 today. But from day one, it's been slightly clicking between shifting up, and really noticeably clicking when shifting down, to where it's almost not letting me shift down. I wasn't sure if this is some safety feature but I couldn't find anything about it in the owner's manual. Is this normal, or does it happen to anybody else? Also, I shift it firm, but don't rag on it, if that helps any.

Try some Amsoil MCF, my tranny smoothed out a lot after switching over to that. Not to mention the benefit of extended oil change intervals.
