Busa stampede--Lambs' trip

Good stuff Lamb! LCB is an awesome chick isn't she? Glad y'all had a great time and thanks for sharing your adventure with us.

OK, my turn....

First - the trip west. I decided to see a different part of the country so instead of taking I80 all the way to Reno, I took I70 to US50. Stopped along the way to say "Hello" to a dear friend, passed thru Denver just in time to see the sunrise hit the top of the mountains and came to appreciate just how beautiful this country of ours really is. My next trip west will include an extended visit to CO, UT, maybe WY.... there's just so much to see.

Please excuse the quality of the pics - they were taken with a cell phone camera from a moving vehicle.

Colorado was amazing - wish I had time to stop, unload the bike and just ride those canyons and mountains. Passed thru Keystone, Vail, stopped in Eagle for gas...

I70 runs thru Glenwood Canyon and the westbound lanes are above the eastbound lanes for part of it. I passed the tractor-trailer in the tunnel, moved into the right lane as I came out of the tunnel and there was a doe with 2 fawns right there in front of me. I had time to change lanes and I sure hope the truck did too...

Lisa! Sounds like agreat trip. Sorry I missed u guyz this year... I'll try and be available next year.

The Pacific! Fog! Then inland to Napa Valley via 20, 175 and 29 - all great roads with flawless new pavement. Too much fun riding to stop for pics but we did have to stop for gas and guess what?.... someone wore out a back tire.

You gotta love smart phones - there was a shop within 10 miles. Not only did he hook me up with a tire but it gave Lamb a chance to check his chain - it had been acting strange and something about it just didn't look right.... Turns out my tire was the lesser of the 2 problems! Holy-lack-of-chain-maintenence-Batman!

Huge thanks to Parriott Motors/Honda in St Helena, CA!!

And Glenwood canyon is like the best section of I-70 in CO - it's a hoot to rip through there on the Busa. But yeah, it is a high deer crossing area as well - so careful at night.

Awesome pics Lamb and Lisa, Thank yall very much for sharing.
