Building A Exo-busa Kit Car

Needs some help guys.

Could you tell me what these are for?
First one we are unsure of is capped off.

Just an update to the build thread.
I jumped into the wiring.

First thing I did was isolate the Starter Relay.
And mounted it on the side of the motor where all the wires and rectifier will be.

Mounted the rectifier

Then I isolated the Fuse box side of the wiring from the ECU side of the wiring. There's really only 4-5 wires that cross over. Not bad at all.

This is all the wires left of the ECU side.

Taped the wires with the same number on the top and bottom of the tape, then used scissors to cut them in half.

Once both sides of the wiring harness were free, I mounted them up front.

Next step is to solder the wire extensions to the wires in the back of the car.

hey guys,

At night, what's the color of the stock gauges of a gen 1? Have to get a GPS speedo and I would like to match the oem color.

yellowish i think...ug been a while since gen 1

confirmed...orangeish yellow

Any of you guy good at reading the wiring schematics?

Looking at the fuel pump wires there's 4 wires, 2 ground ones but the other two I'm not 100% sure on.
There's a red/yellow wire the comes from the fuel pump relay to the pump - I assume this should be my power to the new pump
The second is a Black / Green wire that comes from the pump to the gauge cluster. I assume again, this is for the floater in the pump to the gas gauge.

Are my assumptions correct?

Frank, that first pic of the capped off 2 wire connector is for trouble shooting. If you get an FI light come on in your dash you will remove the cap, jump the 2 wires together and get an error code in the dash. You then look up the code to get an answer. Make sense?

Rubb.

Ok, but it is for the float.. Won't have one in the car, but needed to make sure that I could tape up this wire and not hurt anything.

Ok, picture update for anyone that is following this thread.

Organizing the wires.

Extended from the back, now soldering the front.

Looking much better. The extra lines are for the tail lights. Lets just hope I put all the wires in the right place.
That's the fuel pump you can see on top.
