Bottom Tabs On Gen 1 Frame. What Are(were) They For?

The tabs on the bottom of my frame just behind the motor have been chopped off. Assuming this has something to do with the dogbone lowering links. Just curious what those were for originally.

Btw...I'm digging my $350 harbor freight setup. Lift table, wheel chock and swingarm stand.

I appreciate it fellas. From what I've gathered they didn't come with center stands but you could add one? Obviously not what I'm looking to do tho.

Gonna get in there and chop them off the rest of the way.
