Best Leathers For Western Australia

Just a question some may be able to answer as a biker from uk full leathers was a must have !! No shorts and tshirt or hoody over there unless u have a death wish. Over here ive opted for jeans and leather jacket which is still hot but with speed barable.
Now i have the new busa i want full protection again what do other busa riders find best leather wise eg makes models prices ect

I have not stuck to a particular brand. I like Icon, Joe Rocket, 1st Gear. I usually look on the sites and find the clearance sections. Last years models that are brand new and much cheaper.

I bought custom from Spartan. Great quality but not as cheap as off the rack. Not sure if they will send overseas.

Never been to Australia but I've heard from quite a few people that it gets really hot! Honestly I wouldn't wear leathers if it's scorching hot outside. I understand you want protection but there are some pretty good alternatives out there that will protect but also keep you cool to enjoy the ride.

Doesn't Aus have an abundance of Kanagaroo leather? I would think a custom set of Roo leathers would be De Rigueur over there.

I've got the Joe Rocket textile stuff I've had since 2006. Alter Ego from memory, I know it protects ........ and is a lot cooler than my leather and way, way, lighter.

I just bought Kevlar jeans today because the zipper was damaged on the pants.
