Airbox stack question

I know that if you use all 4 shorties that you hurt you tq a little.

Here is my question.

Does the position in the airbox make any difference ie, put the short ones in the long position and vice versa?


Just a curious question.

Don - My guess would be that the stack differences reflect differences in the intake runner length for that cylinder, i.e. it makes a difference.  But, that flies in the face of the popular "stack mod"...so, what do I know?

Edited to add: I gotta figure those Suzuki engineers knew what they were doing when they designed the Busa the way they did. Doesn't mean it can't be improved, though....
