16/42 Setup

I am still debating on changing the sprockets to 16/42 and would like to know at what RPM's are you guys running doing 55 MPH in 6th? Thanks.

I wish I could help, but I'm running 16/39.

I just got my 16T/42T sprockets and haven't put them on yet.

80 in 6th is 4g's so 55 i think is about 3 1/2 or so.. You'll be glad you switched. Really wakes ya up.

Newb question I know but whats the stock gearing on the Busa. I have yet to do anyting to my new baby and thinking a gear change is first on the list. With the 16/42 setup what will be the top mehcanical speed at that time. I enjoy the speeds I do. Im assuming the math that was used above that 190 will top it out at 11000

I can not remember what top speeds will be with the gear change. Do a search there are a few topics that says the affected speeds. As far as stock gearing 17/40.
