'08's... what's the story?

Mulitple bikes in my stable have kept me out of the loop with the Busa crowd lately, but I'm back now. Hey, what's the story on the '08's? I've read the initial magazine reports. Heard they're faster than the Gen 1 Busa's, but nothing in the way of specs, or other performance details. Anyone upgrade to one yet? If so, what ya think?

Seems to me the magazines would have been choppin'-at-the-bit to compare the ZX-14 to the new Busa - to see who is the fire-head King

but I haven't seen any data on performance comparisons either.

Looking at the rear end of the '08... my first thought was Suzuki had to have teamed up with Moto Guzzi on the styling changes. IMO, pretty sad lookin'! The good news is, I'm sure the after-market companies are scambling to make decent looking replacement rear end parts - and will no doubt cash-in!

That would be interesting to know of the Gen I Busa parts fit the new frame.
