THIS IS NONSENSE.

Banning a good contributing member of the site who is/was trying to bring others together is foolish. So what someone forgot to mention a name even if they did contribute. Would that be the only reason why to contribute to an event like this is to get recognition. I have been a member of this board a lot longer than ebc but I still believe that banning another member for something so childish is wrong.

I know that you may not care or take light on what I might say but believe you should as we are you members and should be able to some kind of imput on our other fellow members.

He did not do anything that is lude or crude or detrimental to the .org, you have made it a personal thing i believe. I enjoy being around here and also at ebc because knowledge is power and sometimes you have to look in other places for that knowledge.

WHY DONT YOU START A POLL AND LET MEMBERS VOTE IF THERE IS JUST CAUSE TO BAN ADAM OR NOT.

This kinda sounds like what happens at another site IE (suzukihayabusa) and is the reason I do not like that site because someone is getting to personal and banning people because of silly reasons just because they have the power to. I believe that you should have some checks and balances for this site, otherwise is becomes a dictatorship and will crumble. I understand that you have worked hard to make this what it is and may be trying to protect it, but your members have also contributed and I think that you are not remembering that. Remember that with alliances you can only get stronger if your word is kept. Please take into consideration what I am posting here and do not take it as a insult but stuff like this will only divide your members and destroy what you have built. Thank you for your time

Your absolutely right it is personal..... This situation has been brewing for months... It's amazing to me how we all forget that there are consequesnces to the decisions that we make... We preach that time and time again.. there is always more to the story that you know... I have sat by for months biting my tongue on this EBC issue. It seems that members there only want to come here and talk smack, stir up garbage and walk away. It has nothing to do with the name recognition, it has everything to do with twisting the facts to meet the needs of a cause.... I simply want to lay it out there... Admins from EBC are posting here in defense of Adam why they became engaged in this get together, Adam provided information I am looking for the facts.... Adam says that I didn't respond to him, I disagree.... I have my message saved, he should have his too.... Lets see how the facts play out.... It's easy to speculate and make accusations back them up is what I ask.... Surely you guys can understand why I take these issues personally, time and time again negative comments are made in these very forums about me and this site... I just want the same opportunity to prove it all out....

Get your facts straight Doug. Adam is a Moderator,not an Admin. There is a difference! Do you actually think that he was made a mod just for the simple fact of h.org and how this whole Texas run played out? How pathetic.
We have a set position that Adam will be doing for EBC besides being a Mod,and I am at no liberty to indulge it to you...it is none of your business anyway.
I do not "lurk" here as you put it. I have not been on this site since I left. I do not twist the truth Doug,that is something that you have mastered very well.
Eventually,more and more of your members will see thru you,as many have already.
I get pm's on a daily basis about how people love EBC...We are a fresh community that is growing strong everyday. We're not going anywhere,but foward and to the top. So get used to it!

Either way its easy to clear up..... I made every timeline that was asked, show me some communication that I missed.... This is an easy one.... George based his entire post on the fact that I didnt respond to adam and that EBC stepped up because I was not communicating.... The reality is that competition exists anywhere and people, much like rock bands, sometimes develop differing opinions and break up.

you know...I've been a member here for under a month and Adam has been the nicest to me and helped me out a lot. *Banning him for personal reasons is completely bullsh!t...same thing happens in other forums because the top dog thinks his tail wags higher than everyone else. *If I join the other forum and post, will I be banned here too? *I thought this was a public forum for Hayabusa owners to engage in free communication for the betterment of the community...not an internet non-verbal b#%^#-slapping gang...

I wish I was at that meet...to meet everyone with a Hayabusa, shouldn't matter what board or club, or state, or whatever you want to use for segregation...

what a shame such a great event turned out this way.
I mean are we not all enthuiasts? Who really cares on what board an event is planned and put together. It seems like these types of get togethers should be encourage by both boards. By ALL Boards, I feel sorry for this Adam guy for trying to do something to benefit fellow riders only to be screwed over by 5 shirts and no mention of the Org as a sponsor. Seems like 5 shirts were made and donated for the cause and this tread turned out like this? Even though I wasn't there I just want to say thanks to Adam for the event.

I have been a "lurker" on this board for some time. I do not post much because I do not own a Hayabusa, therefore I don't have as much to contribute. My husband (mph 200) has always bragged to me and everyone he talks to about what a "mature" group of members this board has. He is a very active member and was very excited to go to the Meet N Greet to meet many of you. We had a wonderful time this weekend - Adam did a great job, especially for it being his first time with such an undertaking. While attending this event I never had the feeling that either "board" was being promoted one over the other. I was under the impression that is was a combined effort and mixture of members.

I was very surprised to come back and read all of this nonsense. It is a shame that such a great event has to end with this BS. I am very happy that the members actually attending the event did not act childish like this and roll around fighting on the playground. THIS IS RIDICULOUS ... I feel like I'm reading a High School drama where one group of girls who didn't make cheerleader are hating on the group of girls that did! Come on guys - blow your noses, wipe your eyes, pull your claws back in and make nice. If you are going to insist on fighting - make it over something worth fighting about.

We met some really great people this weekend. I don't care what board or affiliation any of you have or don't have - I'd be happy to meet up, hang out and ride with you guys anytime.

You brought it up not me.... There are over a thousand post a day on this board, do you really think that I can read them all? Glad to hear that Shawn dealt with it, that is exactly what he was suppossed to do.... If that topic was irrelevant then why did you bring it up?

This issue with Adam has little to do with credit for a few shirts... It has everything to do with a guy that took bad information to another site and complained about something that wasnt true.... The entire basis that Adam went to EBC was because I was unresponsive to his request.... In fact to his defense several of the EBC clan posted up that I was unresponsive and that is why they stepped in and "Took Control" of this event.... In fact I met every need that Adam had, he chose to take this to a different site and provide them FALSE information about our relationship....

Again brenanp, you have conceded that your basis for leaving here with GPW has faltered and now I am waiting for you to show me where I was unresponsive to Adam... You cant do it.... Adam cant do it, as a matter of fact I have a PM from him last night that he even acknowledged that I did respond and that was never an issue... Sounds like there is a hole in your information.... The EBC group just waits for every chance to try and discredit me and this site... Once again I ask you to not speculate or guess, lay the facts out there and lets put them to the test..... You can't Adam came to you with false information, you jumped on it, I responded and now you cant defend your stance with facts..... When EBC was created put the link to that site up, I have wished you well, I have never made one deragatory comments towards the EBC site. As a matter of fact I stated the BG had skills and there was room on the net for all of us... However you wait in the corners and lurk here and wait for an opportunity to pounce...

Something that started out with good intentions has turned into an "us against them" battle; when the reality is that the event had nothing to do with either forum. This event would have gone on without any sponsors or prizes or raffles or banners flying or photos. The intention was to bring Hayabusa riders together. My wife and I had a fantastic time meeting each and every person at the TXHR Meet and Greet and we feel priviledged to have been accepted into the ride as "one of your own". Adam and his wife Kristen welcomed us into their home and treated us like family. This event was about Adam and Texas riders getting together... not about ExtremeBusa.com or Hayabusa.org. It doesn't matter where the idea was originally posted and it doesn't matter what Doug and I feel personally.

I can understand and appreciate the opinions formed from a photo showing one banner higher than the other or a post that thanks some people but not others. Although this is what prompted a series of explosive posts, it has now become evident that it is more about an on-going feud between Doug and I - and NOT issues between ExtremeBusa.com and Hayabusa.org.

Both forums share the same common goal and that is the love and appreciation that goes into owning and riding a Hayabusa. One forum may present it differently compared to the other, but the goal is the same. We seem to have become concerned with what is being said on one forum about the other or worrying about who is not allowed to post on one forum or who is banned, etc. It's time this bickering stopped because it is effecting the members of this forum in a negative way. I would like to end this feuding now Doug - whether we simply agree to disagree or shake hands and ride our separate ways - so that our opinions no longer effect other people. Unfortunately our differences have effected too many people and for that I apologize.
