Great group of people & a good ride today. it was nice to finally meet a few folks. *
We took a little more scenic way back to Austin from Marble Falls.

Thanks to all for letting my Wife ride w/ us on her 600RR.

Adam thank you for organizing everything *
Thanks to Woods Fun Center & others for the donations. I will post pictures of the Roadlok & stator cover as soon as they are installed.

If everyone who came could post up their name *- I am trying to put screen names & human together.

Tango 1300 we need to hit the track sometime together.

Hopefully we shall see a few people out tonight on 6th street. Have a safe trip home.

We will definately see everyone for the 2nd annual meet-n-greet next year.

Woot! Just got in. Long ride back from Austin tonight. Had a great time and wish i had a camera. Someone was following us around taking pictures so i know someone has ALOT of pics. Had one guy get a ticket and one guy get a flat right in front of me. I guess i'm bad luck or something. Anyway we got him patched up and back on the road and got him a new tire when we returned to Woods Cycle Center. I got rid of my plugged tire too! Thanks Adam for hooking me up!!!
It was nice to finally put a face to the names. Next time we need to buy blank name tags or something to put our screen names on.

I have NO idea what you are talking about... *

I want to thank Adam for doing so much to make this a great event. *I am bummed about the bikewash I missed, but the ride back to Houston was nice with the Busa nestled comfortably inside the trailer and the Air Conditioning set at full blast for the first hour of driving! *

For those of you who missed this event... *OMG!!! *

Tiger, you are a nut! *LOL!

I truly enjoyed myself at Woods Fun center and it really is not a good place to visit when trying to exert self control for toy addiction! *Just an amazing place to visit and I am sure to have service done on your bike.

I really enjoyed my Chicken Fried Chicken in Marble Falls, but what was with the instant mashed potatos? *LOL!!

And last but not least... *sorry to any I may have pissed-off!

    Damn it guys.
You know. I have been waiting for something like this to go down in Texas for the 2.9 years I have been on the org.
Then it finally happens, after all this time, and I can not make it due to work obligations.

I will be sure to be at the 2nd Annual..... even if it means finding employment elsewhere.

David, we should get some Houston Busa's together on the regular. Lets hook that **** up!

I will give the breakdown that I saw. *I din't make the ride, since I had a friend in the ROT rally bike show so we barely made it back in time.

We had 28 Hayabusas at the picture and raffle point. *Total bikes was 32... all sport. *For someone like me who rides with cruisers about 98% of the time, it was a real treat to see all of the bikes together, and in Dallas I would bet there are a dozen or less Busas out there so it's rare to even see them, so to see a pack of them was really exciting for me.

We left Woods right on time and wolf packed it over to the picture spot. *I was a little disconcerted at first since it was a little crazy organizing 32 bikes to get anywhere, let alone 32 speed and stunt freaks who love to ride.

Everone was exceptionally nice and I enjoyed the meet. *Adam and the organizers provided some much needed water for all of us, which was liquid gold out there in the sun while we waited for the pictures and had the raffle.

The donations were great. *A stator cover and a RoadLok were the first prize. *A Fujifilm E650 and the Hid 6000 kit were the second prize, and a yellow Zuki race stand and the Warhammer Icon helmet (which I REALLY wanted) were third. *Those were our raffle prizes.

On the fun side, we had contest for the oldest bike (a 99 with the Gold paint), the higest miles (29k'ish), the lowest miles (1800 or so), and the most "bling" which was a blast since we made Adam say bling a lot (I think Mike's Pearl White took that one...). *T Shirts and stickers were for sale and I took the advantage to pick up a shirt.

If someone would post up all the donators I would appreciate it, so that they get the due credit. *I know RoadLok donated, Woods Fun Center donated, and I don't know who donate the camera and race stand, so that would be great to know. *Thank you to all the donators, and especially thank you to Adam for taking the time. *As a part time organizer of social get togethers, it's tough to organize 15 cagers, I can't imagine how tough it was to organize for 30+ speed freaks. *So thank you again!

Great bikes all around and a few pics. *I have some more, but can't find the cord for my camera, so I will get mine up later. *Until then, here are the ones from my girlfriend.

    Cheers.

    Howdy, y'all.

I'm Tiger, and according to an earlier posting, yes, I'm a "nut".

And no, Brianne's not my girl, but I should be so lucky!

I'll follow with an excerpt from my "ride diary"..

R2B, we negelected to thank in our list of contributers Ms. Brianne.

Not only did she agree to come shoot the main posed photo with no sitting fee, but she agreed to be the chase vehicle and shoot live action ride photos. We were lucky as a group to have only a flat, (and my ticket), but it ws nice to have the backup.

I'm sure there'll be a few gems in the mix of photos. I spoke with her this afternoon, and she was going home to process the pics. They should be posted soon.

I wanted to reiterate what I stated earlier in the thread. She'll give us samplers and a link to full resolution prints, for a very fair price. She is a true professional photographer, teaches photo classes, has a studio, etc., and we were lucky to have her there.

I, as well, am looking forward to the bikewash photos.

    THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMING!!!

Everyone says Tobin is the best, but I am the type who would argue for the sake of arguing.

I have no more arguments. *It is the next item on my "must buy" list.

Absolutely the single most comfortable motorcycle seat I have ever touched... granted... I didn't ride it for 5 hours to Dallas today, but I am confident that seat does exactly what people claim it will. *My girlfriend didn't even sit on it, all she did was touch it and she was sold.

*** On a side note I wasn't bragging about my bike, I just tend to be a little shy and didn't introduce myself to everyone so it was more for association.

The side note though is Mike's White Busa. I had only seen the pics of the white and I liked it then. To see it in color, it might be the most stunning color I have seen on a Hayabusa to date. Some friends told me my Orange VTX was a "Stock paint with a custom look", I have to say that the pearl white on the Busa can carry that phrase easily. (Although my girl may disagree, she went inside and stared at the new blue color at Woods for about 20 minuted before turning to me and saying "What would I need to do to ride a Hayabusa?"

Needless to say I was a little...
