Nice work, but I like my tail the way it is.

Now that's a smart item to market. I think more than a few people would go for a nice clean bolt-on tail swap. Very, very nice product!

Is this product going to be available for now on or is it a limited run? I have to finish up with the insurance company on my bike but I want one.

"You get the Billet Subframe brackets, Corbin Seat and a custom battery tray."

The way I read it, sounds like you would still have to buy your own GSXR1000 tail in addition to this kit. Is that true? If so, anybody know ballpark how much the tail itself would be?

Corbin seat probably adds a dime to the price huh? nice market to go after... now we can hush the guys that hate the Gen2 tail?

Shop owner here has done this to his Busa... has a "different" look to it for sure..

Hello,
What is included in the kit is all the custom parts needed to make the conversion. For Example, We worked with Corbin to make a seat where the front mates to a Hayabusa tank and the rear a GSXR 1000 K8. We then made the brackets to mount to the hayabusa frame in the front and the GSXR 1000 K8 Rear seat Pillion support (visable in my pictures as the raw aluminum rear piece of th subframe) Also included is an Aluminum Battery tray that has the needed space for the Hayabusa batery and components, but allows it to properly fit in the narrow space of a GSXR tail. The Hardware needed to mount the mentioned pieces is also included. What you will need to source seperatly to complete the kit will be OEM bodywork, Lamps, Rear seat or Solo cowl and some hardware. All of which we will make available to our customers in the form of new Genuine Suzuki parts. I originally intended to include Brand New Orginal Suzuki parts with the kits, However the cost was considerable to say the least, I think its a better idea to allow my customers to use their own resources to try and source new or used orginal parts or aftermarket equipment to suit there exact needs and budget. Hope that clears up any questions regarding what is included in the price.
Jon

Hello,
I'm working on getting a finalized list together for you guys. I orginally ordered everything I thought was needed for the bike pictured above. I ended up having too many parts and Gregg is working on a revised exact list with parts numbers and prices. FYI I have 5 (4) piece GSXR K8 tail sections at my shop I can sell at a good price to you guys as well.
Jon
