A few months back I had the opportunity to talk with Daryl about the Gen 2 and how I wished they had a unit to secure the bike. Hands down their product speaks for its self with regards to form and functionality. Daryl said to sit tight that something might be in the works...well the wait is over. While I was on travel a neat box showed up in the mail and it is their solution to security of the Gen2 Busa!!! The Arachnid xR Beta unit: Below you will see the picture of the basic unit and then the unit installed on the bike. Do you have 5 minutes of free time to mod your bike so it won't get stolen? Well, that is all this takes to mount this unit up. The kit came with two extended bolts, three variations of spacers that are needed to as to assure proper fit to the rotor, the basic unit and two keys. All you need to do the mod is: socket wrench; torque wrench; metric socket set; 8mm socket and blue thread locker (Loctite). For my bike I was able to go with the default spacer size as indicated by Roadlock...again kudos to their engineering as this hit the mark perfect. I took the bike out after installation and never heard an noise, scraping or other issue. I am truly looking forward to this long term road test. My only regret will be having to send the unit back once testing is done. I fell immediately in love with this unit and the moment they go on sale...I will be buying one up. If you have questions, please let me know. ______________________________________ Click here if you are looking to receive the Traveling Cookie Jar..COOKIES |

| Like Rubber2burn says, they are now on the market. I also have about 6 brand new prototypes left that were never sent out and I can let them go for less than half the cost of the new xR. I have a couple of the Beringer Calipers with built in RoadLoKs that I can heavily discount too! Call me! Chief X 1-888-ROADLOK ______________________________________ |

I bought one of the prototypes for my 09 Busa and was told that the prototypes are not machined as small as the production models but other than that they use exactly the same locking mechanism. I love mine btw. |
