not sure with disc locks as being very effective ... locks that go through the air cooling holes snap like pencils when driven off.. I have had bad boys just unbolt my disc brakes and load it on truck.. bigger disc locks cut off with a grinder 4 mins.. neighbour thought it was me working on my bike.. saw the bike was gone thought i was ok.....

any deterrent is something i guess

alarms, immobilizers, trackers with sticky labels and flashing leds and rape alarms attached with a wire work good...

alarms with key holes that encourage the bad boys to ram screw driver in are not a good design...
