I currently have leather gloves that I tuck into the cuff of my jacket. When it gets colder, the wind slips between and the chill goes right up my arm. Is there a quality over the cuff glove that I can cinch down to keep wind out and heat in?

Try not to strap the gauntlet down too tight and cut off circulation to the hand. You'll know you've done it when your fingers go numb. I've just started not fastening the velcro on mine so they aren't too tight. The strap across the top of the wrist should keep them from flying off in case of unplanned get-off.

I LOVE Lee Parks gloves. Here's my review. New gloves A quote from webbikeworld; "The gauntlets on the DeerSports PCi gloves are wide enough to fit over a hefty jacket cuff. A pet peeve of mine is when a gauntlet can't fit over the sleeve of a heavy jacket, a problem that is too common with poorly designed gloves." Deerskin Insulated Motorcycle Winter Gloves - webBikeWorld Another glowing review. "On the down side they aren’t entirely waterproof, though they do well enough. It would also be nice to see a version with injected plastic hard armor for those spring/winter/fall sport rides. You’ll also want to be sure of the fit, as for my man hands the L seemed a bit long of finger. Those, however, are minor points in a desperate attempt to sound balanced while reviewing a truly outstanding product." http://www.onewheeldrive.net/2005/12...ter-wonders-2/ Best gloves I ever owned. cheers ken ______________________________________ Last edited by kml; 10-08-2009 at 08:20 PM. |

Just purchased Wifey a pair of "Shift" gloves not too many choices with extra small hands. Really impressed with the quality, much, much, better than my Frank Thomas. Shift with an "f", definitely. ______________________________________
