Just a few tips.Just 4 the record i am certified handle propane by state of I.N.
Make shure valve on outside on tank.Check 4 odor b-4 lighting anything.
Check any low ereas in room basement ect thats were it will pool if leaking.
Use a grill or candle lighter 2 light pilot light.Theres a prime or button will prob have hold in 30 seconds or more 2 load line.Look down locate pilot then look away dont look @ it when you light it in case of flare.
Lets say it starts going on+off on you.Check regulaters there is a hole on them with screen in it.Thats air intake spiders like make webs in them.
Put pencil or something up it see if comes out nasty theres a web.
First thing I would check if somebody told me going off after lighting.
Remember you want crisp blue flame.
Ever see condensation on windows 4 no reason that sign of incomplete combustion.Would need use sniff detecter +run leak checks then.
That gas is -40 and will burn you bad trust me put a heck of a sunburn on you.
