Apparently it's a true story that after a lengthy plea for a cat rescue from an older lady to a member of the Fire Department that he replied-

"Ma'am, have you EVER seen a cat skeleton in a tree?!? When it gets ready it WILL come down!"




Her next of kin probably sued when she died on the spot of apoplexy...

And when they get ready, they DO come down. Usually at night to forage, returning to the tree during the day where it's safe and peaceful. At least until the well meaning citizenry come along and blow it out of it's tree with a fire hose.???

all they needed to do was get someone with dark dress clothes on to come by, that cat would have been down that tree and shedding hairs all over the place in about 3 seconds...or was it just my cat that did that?
