My mom keeps telling me what a nightmare it is down there but I didn't realize how bad until I saw these pics. My parents just got some electricity a day or so ago. My Uncle's new "retirement" house that was built last year on Galveston Island had 37 inches of water standing in it.

I couldn't believe that one picture with the bulldozer was actually I-45!! Dayum!!
