Busa159 was right...positive neutral on Kaw

Never Forgotten
While hanging out at the Phillips Monday evening we talked about all kinds of bikes and features good and bad. Steve mentioned that Kawasaki had a good thing called positive neutral. He said that if you are stopped and in first gear the only place you can shift to is neutral. I had never noticed that, but I checked it out on my 250 on the ride to work this morning and that is exactly the case. If the wheels are stopped and you are in first gear the only place you can go is neutral...nice feature. I hope the Suzuki Reps are listening :)

And since every thread should have a picture...

That's not such a great thing for me. Sometimes I want to just cruise and take off in 2nd or 3rd. Shoot just for s&g's I've taken off in 4th before without a hitch.:beerchug:

Yes, the positive neutral finder is a sweet thing indeed. I have it on my Concours-14, and I love it. I don't find it to be a "must have" item, but it's something that when you stop and think about it, you actually appreciate it.
