If you are an audiophile and are looking for a top shelf cd player then check out the Musical Fidelity A5 cd player. The sound it as good as it gets, pretty much at any price, including some $10 to $15K players out they. Walter at Underwood hiFi in Atlanta, GA is selling these player for under 2K new in the box. He is an authorized internet dealer for some really cool audio gear and easy to work with. The A5 has a tube output stage that make cd's sound more analog. If you are a music lover and like no nonesense high-end gear at midfi prices then check him out.

hehehehe I work in a recording studio. YOU'LL HEAR EXACTLY WHAT I TELL YOU TO HEAR.... reguarless of price. And I guarentee you it's not "live" sounding. Ever.

The idea is to extract as much of the information off the cd or other media as possible. And speakers, cd's players, etc will never sound just like a live event. And sometimes that is a good thing!!!
