Dang it, right when you think your getting a savings fund started again. For let's say BST's. The fricking bearing in the front right of my Silverado 4x4 takes a crap.  Gotta replace the hub assemble. Not even sure there is a bearing in there anymore.
Even caught a rock or something over the winter that cracked the windsheild. Had crack repaired by a pro. When it warms up, I will be fixing his work.
Kinda expect some up keep expense. But last season was tires, brakes pads & rotors, and can you believe I had to change the oil in it.
03 Z-71 with little over 100K.

Anyone know the torque specs for the hub/bearing install?

Pic cause you love them.

Normally if you call Chevy service desk they will tell you. As long as you know the specific part you are looking for

Their are 3 bolts on the back side of the hub take them out,
inpack the center nut off, take allen bolt out and remove abs sensor
and remove hub by smacking it on the back side. Make sure to spray with some
lube, reinstall hub, clean of rust where abs sensor sets to keep abs light off,
inpack center nut down, tighten 3 bolts with 1/2 in breaker bar,put brakes back on. Done
