lets look at this.

7 girls w/ 7 back packs each= 49 back packs
each back pack has 7 big cats = 49 x 7 = 343 big cats
each big cat has 7 little cats = 343 x 7 = 2401
so there are 2401 cats x 4 legs each = 9604
when you add the 7 girls legs = 14 + 9604 = 9618 legs.

7 x 7 = 49 backpacks
49 x 7 = 343 little cats x 4 = 1372 legs
343 x 7 = 2401 big cats x 4 = 9604 legs
7 girls x 2 = 14 legs
1372 + 9604 + 14 = 10990 legs

BC Legs:
343 big cats x 4 legs = 1,372 big cat legs
LC (Little cats) x BC:
343 big cats x 7 = 2,401 little cats
LC legs:
2,401 x 4 = 9,604 little cat legs
Total Cat Legs
9,604 LC + 1,372 BC = 10976
+ 14 girl's legs = 10,990
