There are two clutch mods. They are really only necessary for drag racing. One is the Hub mod. The oem hub has a two piece part that applies more pressure under acceleration. Kind of like a lock-up clutch. It can cause some chatter in drag race style launches. The 2nd is a clutch cushion mod. Suzuki installed something similar in the 02 up models. Some say Brocks is better, some say the late OEM is fine. I'm only using the one piece hub mod with the late OEM cushion.

You can either replace the stock cover with a billet sprocket cover, or add an external brace. Both work. The billet cover can add a bit of protection to the cases in the event of a chain failure. The brace is cheaper.

Canadian Mike has the sprocket covers on a group buy. Ping cdiprecision for a brace
