That got you attention. Thats what we pay for a 2008 Hayabusa in the UK. So you guys over the pond have it really lucky. Another Example is a new Goldwing $38560 and the list goes on $8 for a gallon of gas.
Its just what we are used to very high taxes and high prices. But some other parts of Europe are even more expensive.
Thats why in February I will be visiting your lovely country with a pocket full of $ and driving the biggest thirstiest car I can find and eating as much food as I can in your "eat all you can for $5" Restraunts. going to Daytona and getting pissed every night. And why not. I love it in your land you are lucky people.

$8 for a gal of gas I think I would have ride a scooter. Hope you
enjoy your visit to the states.

It's "Boddington", as in "Boddington's Best Bitter". You can find here in the US in finer liquor stores. Come on over and hoist a few!

I would have thought you guys helping us kick Saddams ass, you'd get a break on the fuel....
Oh yeah...thanks...have fun in the US.

wow...we'd die here, we live by the price at the pump, and if we get sick... were dead anyway.. Uh.... how much a month are you guys paying for health care over there???

Just curious if the exchange rate is to our advantage? Dito I bet they don't have to pay much health care there and if so it can't be as high as our's then it is about all about the same. And if not i want to know what you do for a living because I can't aford one myself and they don't cost that much here. And I make ok money myself ( if you call $8.50 an hour good) let me know because  I will trade you places

Yes, but the Strip Mall hell, Clueless idiots worshiping labels and attempting to buy class or respect will quickly get old...

It's a culture that feeds upon TV, fast food, over blown self import, and a sense of entitlement. It's pretty sad and it's what happens when a society is taught to NOT think of others and that everyone is "special". A freaking Welfare culture where having a name brand label on is more important than having an education, or being a decent person.

Too much of the United States has lost it's way. Many Americans DO Fear. They are Fat, lazy, and fearful, having been told by the press and the Government to be afraid, that they need MORE security, it's OK to give up Rights and freedoms for security...

"Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave?" Shame that we are getting close to needing an edit...

I love my country, don't get me wrong, it's just distressing that so many have so little idea of what it takes to be a decent citizen, human, American...

Finally... I offer the following...

Well, if you want a Socialist type Government, then that's the price you have to pay. Because as Americans are finding out now, if you want the Gov to pay to care for you from Birth to Death, someone has got to PAY and that's ME

I had a chance to work with Germans, Scottish, Irish, Hungarian,  Asian and others and They all came to the same conclusion.  You can go to MickyD's and tear a 20 all to hell in no time.  Some things you win some you lose.  We compared benefits and I found they get free health care, 6 weeks vac. upon hire, The slack off at a min. of 2 hours before quit time.  We had to acrue vac. with bank time 4.2hrs biweekly, pay for health care, work till time to go home.   He tickled me when we work still on the go at 2hrs till quit time.

I had a co-worker from France tell me the same thing.  He said we do not take the time to relax here all ways on the go.
