Well folks. Today makes 13 years I have been hitched. So we decided to get out of the house today. I took some pics and decided to post a few up here. I am still trying to get used to the focus on the Canon. To me it is a little soft for my liking. Anyway here goes.

Some nice young woman offered to take a pic of all three of us at Newfound Gap.

Austin wanted me to snap this pic of him.

I love this pic for some reason. Stairway to Heaven? Nope just the stairway to the lookout.

Some fellow riders offered to take this pic on the path to Clingman's Dome.

Austin asked me to snap this one. I believe this was a way for him to take a break. I thought kids were supposed to have all the energy.

We went off the beaten path on the way back.

Austin and the super nice Killing Bird over in Cherokee.

And nobody was here to offer to take this pic so I had to break out the tripod.

And since this is a motorcycle forum. I had to show everyone where the bike was during the fun day we had.

Yes it is the xti. I only have the kit lens right now and still working on learning how to shoot. Some of my shots come out with everything in focus but what I wanted. I am trying to learn though.
