Well this year I rented a 2007 Harley Fat Boy while away at OBX- nice bike. This time the wife even liked it and rode with me briefly- she said "you need to get rid of your current bike and get one of these". I was ready to push her off!

    Will provide pics soon.

i'm one for imagery, conspiracy theorys and the like. did you know
that when the fatboy first came out the grey paint scheme and the
yellow stripes were modeled after the bomb we dropped on hiroshima
named the "fatboy". i like to think that the suzuki team poked a stick
in the eye of Harley with the orange/black 08 BUSA. traditional Harley
    colors.

    That is actually a myth,but.....

back on topic, now tou can leave the hump on the Busa, and buy something else to chauffer her around on. It seems a lot of the members here have a crusier as the other bike.

I think its a cool bike and I'll bet its WAY more comfy for the wife too!

I'd have one if'n I was not so hell bent on getting a 2nd Gen Busa to keep my '06 company! Oh yeah, I need an M109 too.... Geez!

I had never heard of the assertion that the Fat Boy was named and schemed after WWII hardware!
I dont think the Snopes article did much to counter it either.....

It was a nice cruiser for rolling up into
Duck and almost to Corolla- I just did
some short blasts with it there and down
    rt 12 to Nags Head.

I actually tried to take one of the first turns
in Duck the way I would on my Busa with it,
and let's just say it didn't quite respond like
    my Busa

No doubt ... a FatBoy would be my second bike if I had a garage.

do you think that when called on it the marketing gurus
at the motor company would actually admit such a thing?
i prefer the myth over the snopes article only because i believe it's true.
