So my Dad's in surgery ATM

A couple of months ago I'd posted that my dad was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Well today's surgery day to get his prostate removed. He's been in surgery 2.5+ hours atm. So I'm surfing the web out of boredom. He seemed to be in good spirits going in. So say a little prayer perhaps that this takes care of this nasty cancer issue.

So here's my update. It's about 8 ish now. He went into surgery @ roughly noon. He's out of surgery, things went well, no extra cancer was found (Some growths on his lymph node tested negative) Now I'm just waiting for him to be moved from the recovery room to his room for the next night or 2 so I can visit and such. That and waiting for the nursing staff to finish brewing that pot of coffee....

Yeah, we're back at his place now. We've been here most of the day. He's doing pretty well. Even went out for a mile long walk today. So I think with a little healing, he's gonna be fine. Now hopefully this ends the cancer issues.
