I think that American Airlines pilot did a great job. Although I would think he is unloaded and I can think of a reason why he would land there

Lucky you I had to take a boat to Baghdad when I went the first time ( the bad guys still owned the airport it back then )

Actually he did a good job on that cross wind landing. I wonder just how long, is the runway

? Because it looks like he stopped about 3/4 of the way down, which means it's longer than it looks. Not real long, but not as short as the picture indicates
