Electric Motorcycle

"The Enertia's power ratings (12-25 horsepower, 17-34 lb-ft of torque) make it comparable to a Kawasaki Ninja 250 in terms of horsepower, but the electric drivetrain provides double the amount of torque (the force that gets you moving), in a package 30 pounds lighter. At the 100-percent power setting, Brammo claims a 0-30 mph time of 3.8 seconds—plenty of power for the urban jungle."

Its weird to stand next to that thing when they turn it on. You expect exhaust noise, something, but it's not there.

So

, how much power does the battery have to have to do 140 mph. And do they have regenerating charging systems, as a generator on the wheel hubs

? Interesting, but not very practical since we've had electric cars since 1912

The oil industry and car manufacturers buy up these patented ideas and squash them as soon as someone comes up with a very viable product.
They can't totally keep technology from the public, but it takes a long time for privately funded companies to develope these things.
But, you better believe...it's comin'!!!!

How long does it take to charge up? How long does a charge last? What's the phone number of the hottie in the photo?

These are important questions we all should be asking.

Can't help you with the phone number but she lives in Portland, OR. That's where most of the MSN video was filmed.

It charges from dead to 80% in 2 hrs and to full in about 3 hrs.

I'm fairly intrigued by this. The cost of this is outrageous, but what cutting edge vehicle isnt? The lines and the style is very "euro" so I could see this catching... at least somewhere!

Like it or not though, there is a huge future with this, and big brother oil can't hold it all down.

Thanks for sharing!
