Road Trip

My son is in the Coast Guard stationed in Mobile (Dauphin Island). I am going to ride his SV650 down to him tomorrow (Friday). I will be leaving Sale Creek around 6:00 A.M. I made this trip on the BUSA in March and it took me about six hours. Mapquest says it is 457 miles from my house to his. The BUSA registered 471. I think that is pretty close for a MC odometer. I expect it to be quite different on the SV i.e. more rest stops.. I plan to see YH2K and Blonde on a Busa while there. And by the way my wife and daughter are following me down in the mini-van so I will have a ride home.
