I've not worn one myself, but I've looked at them some myself. Lots of motorcycle journalists wear them and swear by them. In my search, I've come across lots of reviews and although I've read some negatives in regards to comfort, I've not found one that complained of its ability to withstand a crash. I think the Aerostitch suit is $600-$700, you might want to check out the Alpinestars drystar suit, which is available under $500 and is very similar to the Aerostitch
