I'm not from the Phillipines, Cap, but if you can, why don't you schedule a layover in Guam? I would love to have ya over here...even only if it's for a short while.
My sister-in-law is from the Phillipines...when she goes there, she usually has a driver that takes them around. I can ask her for his name...and he should be able to tote ya around. He's a good guy...knows all the party places and may take you there, but I would recommend against that. Beter to say out of trouble in those areas; they sometimes scam the American folks.

Come to think of it, where exactly in the Phillipines are you headed to? My in-laws are from there too, but they're kinda in the provinces.
Nuttn but good times in PI baby. Like PB said, whatch your back, if your approached on the street and get invited to go a party other than a club turn the other way Capt. Also the US dollars will go pretty far in PI. If you get a chance check out Thialand too , it seems like a hot spot for vacationing for European peepz.

Baguio, Rythm. Beautiful city, but a little chilly. Makati is the shopping district...lotta good stuff there.
Cap...if yer gonna be in Manila, please be careful. Lotta bad juju there. You shoul dbe fairly safe if you stick with a group. And how about a driver? I can check with my in-law's drive-man. And if you like, you could do a stopover here on Guam. I can take ya around....

Hey Capt. if your in the area go visit my extended family and give Aileen a big hug from the Paine family........I guarantee it will be life changing and one of the most memberable experiences while in the P.I...............Ask around for Childrens International while in the PI and they can take you there.
