Detroit Ruins

That is very sad. Look like part of the south Bronx where I grew up, back in the late 70's and 80's once crack cocain came onto the scene.

Sad

Sad to see.
But I have to admit, the melted clock in #11 is just awesome! Reminds me of Salvador Dali.

Wow! This is current right now they all look like that?
Looks like Libya!

Why are the books still on the shelves in the library?
There are schools and other places that could use those no?

Please go to the nagasaki or Hiroshima tourist pages and notice the difference in the cities. Those are ultra modern amazing cities. Detroit was a product of liberal rascist policies. Too bad.....:banghead:

It could be worse and it could be way better...it is an indicator for many other manufacturing towns

Hard to believe this is in our country... Reminded me of Pripyat.

It's terrible. They have no one to blame but themselves. Greed, Corruption - better watch out, this could be YOUR city in the future. It's why electing good, smart people to public office is SO important, yet we do such a poor job at it.

I was reading my small town local paper yesterday, our school board is a bunch of incompetent loons who can't stop quibbling, and the city council isn't much better.
