Bill Warner Injured in High Speed Crash: Land Speed record holder and the first man to break 300 MPH on a sit-up style motorcycle, Bill Warner, was involved in a high speed crash today during a Texas Mile Land Speed racing event in Beeville, TX. As of 3 PM Central Time, Warner was still in the emergency room with non-life threatening injuries including cuts, fractures and abrasions. He was reported to be conscious and alert by medical staff. He was expected to be held for further evaluation and recovery.
