Yes, that's true. The beginner ones are good to learn on, but after a while they get boring. I'm up to the point where I do the ones you hafta guess at. Some of them take two or three guesses. There's really NO math involved, it just looks that way because they commonly use numbers instead of letters, but I've seen both used. It's basically just patterns.
I do crosswords too, but I kinda burned out on them after a few years. Never got good enough to do the ones such as the "New York Times" crossword.

Anastasia (our 11yr old) did 3 of them in 20 minutes time one day. I had never really completed one before that (I prefer logic puzzles and some of those are tricky too). So I became determined to do one quicker than her. Ever since I've been hooked. I found the game on my Blackberry. Now I do them all the time (even at work!).

There is a different Sudoku puzzle on the web site every day. Along with a bunch of other puzzles.
